  • Access to your Konnect Insights API details page
  • The MCP server URL generated from your Konnect Insights setup
  • Permission to add a custom connector in Claude

Sign in to Claude

Login to your claude.ai account and open your workspace.

Review Privacy Settings
After logging in, go to:

Turn this option off before continuing. Anthropic confirms customer data is not used to train their models.

Open Settings

Click your profile menu in Claude and open Settings.

Go To Connectors

Inside Settings, open Connectors. Click Add custom connector.

Open the Custom Connector Dialog

A setup dialog box will appear. This is where you enter the details for Konnect Research Cloud.

Fill in the fields as follows:

Konnect Research Cloud will appear in the Connectors list as connected.

Enable KRC in Chats

Go to Chats, click the + icon, and enable the toggle for Konnect Research Cloud.

Start Asking Questions

Your setup is now complete. Start asking questions related to your brand, customer conversations, and research workflows directly in Claude.

Quick Setup Summary:
• Log in to your paid Claude account
• Turn off Help improve Claude under Privacy
• Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector
• Enter Konnect Research Cloud as the name
• Paste the MCP server URL from the Konnect Insights API details page
• Click Add
• Open a chat, click +, and enable Konnect Research Cloud
You're live. KRC is now connected to Claude. If KRC does not appear immediately, review the connector name, confirm the MCP server URL was generated correctly, and make sure the connector has been enabled from the chat menu.

A dialog box will appear. Enter the following details:

Verify the connector name and MCP server URL, then click Add.

Go to Chats in Claude. Click the + icon and enable the toggle for Konnect Research Cloud.

From the left-side menu, click your profile and select Settings.

Go to Apps

Inside Settings, navigate to Apps, then open Advanced settings.

Enable Developer Mode

Enable Developer mode using the toggle. Note that this allows adding connectors that may modify or erase data permanently.

Create a new app

After enabling Developer mode, click Create App.

Configure the app
